# My Day

Route: /dashboard · Status: changing · Checked against code: 2026-10-22 67bcbaca

My Day is where PulsOne opens. It shows what you have done today, what is on the clock, the
one step to take now, and lets you end the day in one tap. You can open it, tick off two
things and leave — the day looks finished, not abandoned.

## What you see

- **The date** with ‹ › to look at earlier days, and **Clear your head**.
- **Four tiles** of the same shape: tasks done, habits («today · N of 7 days»), this month's
goals, focus minutes — each with seven bars for the last week. Hover the bars to see what
they count. Nothing on them is a debt.
- **Day** — the day by the hour, only what has a time: meetings (with Meet or Telegram logos
and «Open» just before they start), tasks you put on a time, reminders. On the «now» line
is the step now from your Focus — or, during a session, a small «session running in Focus»
bar. Under it, **No time**: today's tasks by importance, passed dates folded into one grey
line, and **Habits** with «N of 7» and a pause.
- **Waiting for you** — only when something waits: questions for the sort-out, a change
your own AI (Claude, ChatGPT…) made, with Keep / Undo, or an idea you put away whose day has
come — *Review the idea: do it or not?*, what changed since (the check's verdict, thoughts and
records about it), **Into work · Let it rest ▾ · Let go**, and *desk ›*. A focus session's
summary you have not seen (it came by itself — Focus was not open at the end): what the
session was about as the title, *yesterday, 17:40 · project · 50 min · 1 step* under it,
where you stopped, **Open in Focus**.
- **Done today** — what you did yourself and through your AIs, *Main* by default, *All* on a
tap. At its end, a quiet **End the day · or by itself at 21:00**.
- **Draft of thoughts · date** — opens that day's draft in OnePuls.

## How to use it

1. Tick things off as you go — in the day, in No time, or on the habits.
2. Press **Start a session** on the step now; the work happens in Focus.
3. Done for today? **End the day** — one tap. If something is left, a quiet «N left — where
to?» offers **Sort out** (Tomorrow / Date… / Later / Drop for each) or **Let them be**.
4. Double-click the time in «or by itself at 21:00» to change it or switch it off.
5. ‹ to an earlier day shows its log: what was done, what was left, whether it was closed.

## How it works

- Everything is read from your tasks, Focus, calendar, habits, sessions and thoughts. The
tiles count what was done; what is left never turns red.
- **End the day** marks the day closed and moves nothing. At your auto-close time the day
closes itself, silently — no review, nothing moved. The same setting as «review the day
  myself» in OnePuls.
- **Sort out**: Tomorrow / Date… set the task's date; Later takes the date off and the task
out of Focus; Drop («no longer needed») hides the task and its open steps everywhere — it is
not «done» and can come back. Touch nothing — it stays as it is.
- A habit's **pause** keeps its week whole: paused days do not count in «N of 7».
- **An idea's review day** (stage A, `src/lib/ideaReview.ts`): an idea put away until a day is
back in Waiting for you on that day, in grey — you set the date, it is not an alarm. «What
changed» lists only what was recorded about it since it was put away: the check's verdict,
thoughts and records that mention it, by the words of its name. **Let it rest** writes when it
was put away (`ideas.resting_from`), so the next review counts from there.
Nothing about it — «nothing new since». Every choice has Undo in the toast.
- **On a phone** the same address opens **Today** (see `docs/phone-frontend.md`). Stage B
(B5): above «Step now» sits one session summary — the session that has just ended on this
phone (built at once, like Focus's review, so it is born seen), else the newest one that came
by itself. Title, *when · project · what got done*, where you stopped, **Continue** (another
session on that task) and **Got it**. When a session ends on the full session screen, the
same card shows there, dark. While a session runs there is no card.
