# Habits

Route: /habits · Status: stable · Checked against code: 2026-10-13 c31da22

Habits is for the things you want to do every day — read, walk, stretch. Tick them off day by
day and see how steady you have been.

## What you see

- **Your habits**, each with its icon and colour, and the last seven days to tick.
- **Activity (4 months)** — a heat map: the darker a day, the more habits you kept.
- **This week** and **Top habit** counters.

## How to use it

1. **New Habit** → a name, an icon, a colour.
2. Tick a day when you did it; tick again to undo.
3. Want a habit to count towards a goal? Attach it in the goal's form (see Goals).

## How it works

- A tick is one record per habit per day. There are no streak rewards or penalties — the heat
  map just shows what happened.
- Habits show elsewhere too: on the Dashboard (the *Habits* number and widget), in the
Calendar's all-day row as the day's progress (and on *Plan the day*, to give one a time), and
on a goal they carry, as "kept N of M days".
- OnePuls can create habits, tick them and link them to goals when you ask.

## What OnePuls can do here

- habits and their days (habit.create, habit.update, habit.mark_day, habit.delete)
