# Notes

Notes is your writing space: a page for a meeting, a plan, a book, a lecture, a thought. Pages
live in a tree under your projects, hold blocks like a Notion page, and save as you type.

## What you see

- **The page** — a full-width sheet. Edits save on their own; there is no Save button.
- **The page tree** (a drawer) — your pages grouped by project, with subpages under their main
page, plus the pages filed under no project.
- **The page header** — the project it lives in, tags, mood, your own fields (**+ field**: a
date, a number, a link…), the goal it belongs to, the tasks it carries, and the switch
  **Let AI read this note**.
- **The toolbar** — text styles, lists, checklists, tables, images, links, and **Insert**:
a task, a video, a PDF, an Atlas board, and a project's **path** (the orange icon).
- **A plan that speaks the path's language** — a heading can carry a step of a project's path
  (*step 08 · Вернулся*, typed with «/Path step»), and the **path block** («/Project path»)
draws that project's live path: which plan point names each step, and a line about the steps
no point names (*Steps 03–07, 09 are not in the plan — on purpose?* · **Yes**). The project's
path in Ideas shows the same link back (*in plan · p.1*).
- **The right edge** — a thin strip with a tick per heading; hover it for the page's outline
and, on a video page, its timecodes.
- **Pages** — on a main page, the list of pages inside it, with **+ Subpage** and **Attach**
(move an existing page inside this one).
- **The classic view** (from the header) — a list or a calendar of all notes, with search
and filters by tag, mood and project, and the **Templates** gallery.

## How to use it

1. **New page** → choose where it lives (a project, or inside another page) and start empty
   or from a template.
2. Write. Type `/` or use the toolbar for blocks; drop a task in the text and it becomes a
   real task.
3. Building notes from a video? Paste a YouTube link (or upload a recording): the page gets
the video and an outline with timecodes to edit. A PDF opens beside your text, one page at
a time, so a quote can carry its page number.
4. Export with **PDF**, **PNG**, **Markdown** or **Print**.
5. Make your own template, or describe one and let the AI write it.

## How it works

- **Filed under a project.** A page belongs to one project (or none); a subpage always lives
in its main page's project, so attaching a page moves it. The project's **Notes** tab in Tasks
  shows the same pages.
- **Subpages are a list, not links.** The *Pages* block is read from the tree: rename or delete
a subpage and its row follows. The price: a subpage link cannot sit inside a paragraph.
- **OnePuls and your notes.** New notes are readable by OnePuls by default; switch **Let AI
read this note** off and it stays only yours. OnePuls can also create and edit notes when you
ask, and a razbor can turn a reflection into a note.
- **A goal's plan.** A page linked to a goal and tagged *Plan* is that goal's plan; the goal's
  card opens it.
- **Video outlines** come from the video author's own chapters when they exist (translated if
needed); otherwise from the transcript, with every timecode snapped to a line actually
  spoken.
- **Tasks in the text** are real tasks — they appear in Tasks and can be ticked in either
  place.
- A page saves as rich blocks; a Markdown copy is kept alongside for search, export and
  OnePuls.

## What OnePuls can do here

- notes (note.create, note.update, note.delete)
- note templates (note_template.save, note_template.delete)
- the journal (journal.correct, journal.withdraw)
