# Pantry

Route: /pantry · Status: stable · Checked against code: 2026-10-13 c31da22

Pantry is for groceries: what you need to buy and what you already have. It is an optional
module — switch it on in Settings → Wellbeing → Extras.

## What you see

- **List** — what to buy, grouped by recipe, with a price hint under each item.
- **Pantry** — what is at home.
- A quick add line (several items at once, separated by commas), the AI wand, and a receipt
  scanner.

## How to use it

1. Add items to the **List** — or type a dish ("borscht") and let the wand expand it into
   ingredients.
2. In the shop, tick items as you buy them; they move to the **Pantry**.
3. When you use something up, mark it eaten.
4. Not sure what to cook? On the **Pantry** tab the wand suggests a few dishes from what you
have, with one click to add the missing items to the list.
5. Photograph a receipt: check what was read, then **Save to pantry + accounting**.

## How it works

- Items flow List → Pantry → eaten. Eaten items are hidden, not deleted, so price history
  keeps them.
- **Price hints** come from your own receipts first (e.g. "≈ 25 Kč · Tesco"); for an item you
have never bought, the AI gives an estimate. Your country setting affects the estimates.
- **A scanned receipt** adds its items to the pantry, remembers their prices, and records
the total as an expense in Accounting (even while that module is switched off — it shows up
  when you turn it on).
- OnePuls can read your list and point you here, but it does not change it.

## What OnePuls can do here

- OnePuls knows the way here and can read it, but does not change anything.
