# Sleep

Route: /sleep · Status: stable · Checked against code: 2026-10-13 c31da22

Sleep is a simple log of how you slept. It is part of **Wellbeing**, which you switch on in
Settings together with Mood.

## What you see

- **Overview** — the week's chart, a sleep score, your average bedtime and how regular it is,
the trend against the week before, and recommendations.
- **Log** — every night you recorded.
- **Rituals** — evening and morning checklists, and a **power nap** timer (10–20 minutes is
  the sweet spot).

## How to use it

1. **Log sleep** → date, bedtime, wake-up time, quality (*terrible* to *excellent*), and
optionally notes, a dream and what affected it.
2. Check the **Overview** once a week to see the pattern.

## How it works

- The duration is worked out from bedtime and wake-up time, across midnight.
- OnePuls reads your last week of sleep when it helps the conversation — for example when you
plan a heavy day — but it does not log sleep for you; you record it here.
- With Wellbeing on, sleep and mood together feed the *Day efficiency* preview in Settings.
The "ease the day" nudge built on it is marked *Soon* and is not working yet.
- Logged sleep can also show on the Calendar when its *Day log* layer is on.

## What OnePuls can do here

- OnePuls knows the way here and can read it, but does not change anything.
