Core ideas
PulsOne has a few ideas that run through every screen. Once you have them, each screen is easy.
Projects are parts of your life
A project is a part of your life — a job, a product, a move, learning a language — not a folder of tasks. It holds:
- branches (sub-projects, one level deep — a branch always belongs to its project),
- sections, tasks and their steps,
- its ideas, notes and an Atlas board,
- its memory: decisions with your reason, open questions, hypotheses, and a log of what changed.
A project can serve a goal, and can have its own AI in OnePuls (instructions and a knowledge base). A project that holds only notes is still a real project. A project you put on hold folds away with its branches until you bring it back.
Every thought finds its place
You never have to file anything. A thought you capture — in the Island, in Focus, mid-session, in a Razbor, from Telegram or your own AI — goes to the archivist. It reads the thought and decides where it belongs across all your projects. Decisions, questions and thoughts become the project's History, ideas go to its Ideas, and something to find out becomes a Find out task. Only what it cannot settle — not sure where, two decisions that disagree, a likely duplicate — waits in the project's Inbox for you.
- You can see where every thought went and move it with one click.
- Thoughts from a focus session wait about ten minutes before they are filed, so you can correct the place.
- From what you said, OnePuls may suggest a step, a task or an idea — with the reason. Nothing changes until you apply it.
- A checkable assumption becomes a hypothesis (I assume / how to check / outcome) on the project, never a loose note.
The project's Overview and Full project history are built only from what was actually recorded — so a project you return to after a year still tells you where you stopped.
Razbor: from chaos to one clear start
When your head is full, press Clear your head in OnePuls. The chat starts silent: say everything, as long as you need. Then Sort it out: OnePuls sorts what you said by kind, checks it understood you, asks only the questions that change the plan, and — when you ask — lays out one direction with small first steps as a card you tick and assemble. Big topics wait on the shelf Waiting to be sorted; a reflection can become a note; a conclusion about yourself can go to About me. The razbor ends with a short summary you can keep.
The same thing runs for a day: drop thoughts into the day's Thought draft, and in the evening the Day recap sorts them against what you actually did.
Your day
- A task's day is its deadline. Its hour is its block in the Calendar. A deadline without a time sits in the day's "all day" row.
- Focus is not a date. It is the short list of what you are working on now. Putting a task into Focus or taking it out never moves its deadline.
- A session records real minutes on its task; what you say at its end goes to the project's History.
- Reminders ring in Telegram, at their time; meetings get a notice 10 minutes before. Nothing else pings you.
OnePuls lives inside PulsOne
OnePuls is not a separate chatbot. It works with the same data you see on every screen, so a task it creates is simply a task in Tasks.
- Wherever you are. The OnePuls page, the island at the top of any screen (Ctrl/⌘ +
.), a global hotkey in the desktop app, and Telegram — one OnePuls, one memory. - It knows where you are. Asked "add it here", it uses the screen you have open and says what it assumed.
- It shows what it did. Each change gets a receipt line under the answer, and every change is in the Log with undo.
- It knows you because you let it. About me shows every fact it keeps, where it came from, and lets you fix or delete it. A note you mark private stays private.
- What you can do, it can do — on the core screens. On the optional modules (Sleep, Mood, Accounting, Pantry) and Pomodoro it can read and show you the way, but does not change anything. It never touches billing, sign-in, e-mail, password, the Telegram link or onboarding.
- Two voices. A fast everyday voice, and a stronger one only when you ask for it (the Advisor, the Deep mode, the plan step of a review). Your words alone never switch it.
